Award of Distinction
The Engineer's Society of Western Pennsylvania (ESWP) awarded ATSI, Inc. with Industrial Project of the Year. Hank Mattus, ATSI's Senior Project Engineer, accepted the award on the company's behalf. This year's annual banquet was held on Wednesday, February 20, 2008 at the Heinz Field, East Club Lounge in Pittsburgh, PA. This award highlights the important contributions ATSI's engineers made to our society. The ESWP's goal is to recognize an exemplary and outstanding project from the Western Pennsylvania region. ATSI was recognized for the major reconstruction of the SeverStal "C" Blast Furnace 2007. ATSI's ability to retrofit the blast furnace to fill existing infrastructure, their limited time frame and the dedicated and professional staff, made ATSI a qualified recipient for this award.
