Summary of Scope of Service
An appropriation cost estimate for a new peroxide facility was required. The new facility was to include a batch operation that included a multiple storage and feed systems. Batch tanks, mixers, process heat exchangers, pumps and an off-gas treatment system were required to make the process complete. ATSI was requested to provide the preliminary engineering design and estimate to support the appropriation cost estimate.
Services Provided
- Design of new process vessels consisting of internal heating and cooling coils
- Complete building design including explosion relief on walls
- Sizing of all pumps and piping
- Sizing of all process heating and cooling systems
- Calculating all electrical loads from new process and sizing major electrical equipment
- Preliminary design of building HVAC system
- Obtain vendor pricing on all major equipment to support estimate
