Summary of Scope of Service
An appropriation cost estimate for a new peroxide facility was required. The new facility was to include a batch operation that included a multiple storage and feed systems. Batch tanks, mixers, process heat exchangers, pumps and an off-gas treatment system were required to make the process complete. ATSI was requested to provide the preliminary engineering design and estimate to support the appropriation cost estimate.

Services Provided

• Design of new process vessels consisting of internal heating and cooling coils
• Complete building design including explosion relief on walls
• Sizing of all pumps and piping
• Sizing of all process heating and cooling systems
• Calculating all electrical loads from new process and sizing major electrical equipment
• Preliminary design of building HVAC system
• Obtain vendor pricing on all major equipment to support estimate
