We have an experienced group of highly proficient engineers and designers. Our team develops control systems based on customer requirements, as well as conducts investigations to determine the requirements that are needed on a project-by-project basis. We recommend, engineer, specify, design, and implement the appropriate DCS, SCADA, PLC and/or stand-alone control system for your application. We examine and evaluate engineering applications and provide specifications and instrument selection. Our staff is experienced in the Functional design of Process Control, Machine Control, and other control applications. Our Control System Engineering team actively participates in the full project cycle starting from the conceptual phase to the startup/debug and commissioning of the system.
Services: The control system design services that we provide include the development of Process & Instrument Diagrams (P&IDs), Control System Architecture layouts, design of instrument loop diagrams, Specification of Instrumentation, I/O wiring diagrams, panel layout diagrams, panel wiring diagrams, and logic diagrams. We support AutoCAD, Visio, and Intergraph CAD systems. Our designers are highly experienced in designing control panels that meet the all North American and European electrical standards. At ATSI Inc. we prepare construction and specification work (release) bid packages. Additionally, we provide on-site project & construction management services to provide quality installation and startup of all projects. We have a fully qualified Electrical Engineering Department to assist in every level of Electrical Distribution application.
Documentation: At ATSI Inc. we have developed Standard Control Systems Engineered Documentation packages so that our customers can choose the level of detail they require for their project. This helps to minimize engineering time to get your project operational as soon as possible. We have fully developed Control System & instrumentation specification documentation based upon ISA standards.
PLC/DCS Systems: The controls engineers on our staff are experienced in designing control systems based on a variety of PLC and DCS control systems. Our control software development skills include standard ladder logic programming and all five of the IEC 1131-3 standard programming languages: Function Block Diagram, Ladder Diagram, Sequential Function Chart, Instruction List, and Structured Text. The hardware platforms that we have implemented include: Allen-Bradley PLCs , Modicon PLCs, General Electric PLCs, Texas Instruments PLCs, Square D PLCs , Fisher-Rosemount DeltaV DCS , Bailey DCS, Westinghouse WDPF DCS, Foxboro A2 DCS, Eurotherm DCS.
Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition Systems: At ATSI, we believe that a well designed, user-friendly operator interface and data acquisition system is key to the efficient operation of an automated manufacturing plant. In addition, we believe that the design of the data acquisition system is key to the effective data integration between various manufacturing processes as well as between the plant floor and corporate information systems.
