Cereal Packing Line Project: Cereal Packaging Line Features: Detail Design Engineering Summary of Scope of Services
ATSI provided equipment layout and design engineering services to support the installation of a new cereal packaging line. The new line was connected to an existing cereal line on the fifth floor, which was modified to allow for this connection. The new line was diverted to a conveying system which was transported to the second floor to be detected for metal, weighed, packaged in liner bags, boxed, sealed, date stamped and routed to an existing conveyor to be palletized, stretch wrapped and warehoused. |

- Review existing plant location, facilities and operation
along with proposed project requirements.
- Layout cereal process and packaging equipment
arrangement and coordinate engineering with equipment vendor.
- Design structural platforms and supports, mechanical
conveying lines, modifications to existing process equipment to allow integration, perform engineering calculations and prepare drawings.
- Assist Owner and Contractors during construction
phase and resolve problems.
