Summary of Scope of Services
ATSI provided design engineering and construction management services for a fast-track 68,000 square-foot single-story warehouse expansion. The expansion required H-pile supported concrete foundations, hardened concrete floor slab, structural steel framing, precast concrete and insulated metal siding, insulated built-up roofing, heating and ventilation, integration and extension of existing fire alarm and sprinklers, electrical power distribution and lighting, truck loading docks and ramps, railway trackwork relocation, truck staging and parking areas, sheet pile retaining wall, and site improvements.

Services Provided

• Review existing plant location, facilities and operation along with proposed project requirements
• Design civil, structural, architectural, mechanical, and electrical systems; perform engineering calculations; and prepare drawings and specifications
• Prepare construction bid documents for multiple prime contractors, solicit bids, conduct pre-bid meetings, evaluate bids, and make recommendations
• Prepare construction schedules and estimates
• Coordinate activities of multiple prime contractors
• Oversee construction work performed by contractors, review and approve project changes, authorize payment, and resolve field problems
