Cemetery Information Management System- CIMS

Old Files

Cemeteries have traditionally maintained all owner and burial information in ledger books, on note cards and on paper maps.  Most cemeteries continue to rely on these antiquated paper documents as their sole source of information.

Searching through file cabinets full of paperwork can be extremely time consuming and costly.  In addition, these hard copy documents are subject to loss and destruction, either by human error or natural disaster.

Some cemeteries have converted their information into electronic databases format but do not have a mapping component that can graphically display this information in a standard map format.

As we know, it can be very difficult to visualize information from a database, but                a picture is worth a thousand words!

What is CIMS?

CIMS is a cemetery management and mapping system designed to bring all of your cemetery documents, to a digital map with a click of a mouse.

CIMS Software

Rapid querying of available, reserved and sold spaces by name and/or location - results will display the database records as highlighted graphical features on the map.  This information can be viewed and printed in report or map form.

From your file cabinets to your fingertips with a click of a mouse.  CIMS uses state-of-the-art GIS (Geographic Information System) technology to link all of your data to a digital map to efficiently manage your cemetery.
