Summary of Scope of Services:
ATSI was selected to provide installation engineering, major vendor coordination, contractor bid specifications, and field construction support for the installation of three processing lines for copper and brass coils. One of the lines was relocated from another facility.

The Stretch, Bend and Level line (SBL) flattens and adjusts the coil thickness, and inspects the coil for imperfections. The Hot Dip Tinning line (HDT) cleans the coil and applies a tin coating by running the coil through a molten tin pot. Two tin pots on rails are alternated in the process stream using a turntable. The off-line tin pot is moved to refining station, where contaminants are removed and tin is added. The Slit, Traverse and reWind line (STW) slits the coil into six strips, and winds each strip onto its own spool.
